Taste and Colour:
The Gewurztraminer is now one of the most sought after wines of South Tyrol. He is a straw to golden yellow, aromatic and full-bodied white wine. He has a distinct aroma of rose petals, cinnamon and cloves.
Description:
The grapes for the Gewurztraminer comes from the vineyards of Tramin communities and mining. They thrive on steep slopes between 300 and 450m above sea level. The calcareous, loamy to schotterlehmigen, fertile soils assist the growth and maturation of these good wine. The grapes were rubbed directly after delivery and gently pressed. The fermentation was carried out in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature (21 ° C). The subsequent expansion also took place in steel tanks without malolactic fermentation.
Pairing:
The wine is well suited to fish entrees, pastries and aromatic, spicy white meat dishes.
