Taste and Colour:
The Chardonnay is an extremely popular, a lot of drunk white wine with a greenish yellow color, delicate, fruity aroma and dry, lively press. Chardonnay can be found in the notes of pineapple, bananas, apples, pears, citrus fruits, caramel, vanilla and butter.
Description:
The grapes for the Chardonnay coming from different vineyards of the communities Auer, Neumarkt and Tramin, as well as in hilly areas and mining Tramin between 240 and 500m above sea level. Chardonnay thrives on calcareous, warm, gravelly loam soils. The Chardonnay grapes were pressed immediately after harvest and then matured in steel tanks. It was allowed a small proportion of malolactic fermentation.
Pairing:
The Chardonnay is well suited as an aperitif, with light cold and hot appetizers, soups and casseroles to fish and shellfish dishes, with veal, poultry and pork.
