Chambolle Musigny 1964
|
Description:
Chambolle-Musigny is a tiny commune in the Cote de Nuits sub-region of Burgundy. It has a population of fewer than 400, but enjoys an historic and widespread reputation for its high-quality wines. The village produces almost exclusively red wines from Pinot Noir.
Fill Level:
Mid shoulder fill. A fill at about the midpoint (as measured by volume) of the shoulder of the bottle. Not unusual for wines over 40 years of age, but may suggest poor storage conditions or early signs of cork failure. Can be at significant risk of being undrinkable.
